Nio Stock Rises 4% on Record Battery Swaps and Deliveries
Nio shares gained approximately 4% in Hong Kong trading as the electric vehicle Maker reported unprecedented battery swap metrics and delivery figures. The company achieved 177,627 daily swaps during the Lunar New Year period, marking six record-breaking days in February alone.
With 3,750 operational swap stations nationwide—including 1,022 along expressways—Nio surpassed 100 million cumulative swaps on February 6. CEO William Li identifies this milestone as critical for achieving profitability in the power business segment.
Fourth-quarter deliveries surged 72% year-over-year to 124,807 vehicles. The company anticipates its first-ever adjusted operating profit between 700 million and 1.2 billion yuan for the period.
